Established under Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Denmark . The responsibility of the Institute comprises the duties of the former sector research institution, i.e. studies, surveys, counselling the decision making authorities, accounts statistics for agriculture, horticulture and fisheries according to Denmark’s obligations towards the EU in said areas, as well as teaching and basic research activities in the sphere of food economics at the University.
