Professor Willman has published widely on his research interests in industrial relations, collective bargaining, employee relations, unions and risk management. His books include Union Business: Trade Union Organisation and Financial Reform in the Thatcher Years (CUP, 1993). He has also participated in several major research projects, including, currently, an ESRC-funded project, Styles of Trading in Financial Markets and an Anglo German Foundation-funded project, Firm Level Approaches to European Regulation.
