Komarov and Stanislav Cordon) describes organization pathology (OP) as
an organization dysfunction or
disability of organization to achieve its purpose. OP is seen as a complex self-supported
social entity
resisting attempts to abolish it, - a normal result of organization's adaptation
to environment. To study
organization pathology is important for the managers to 'doctor' their companies
if needed. The authors
suggest their classification of OP, in order to facilitate consulting services, and
determine the course to be
taken to salvage the object of study.
