Employers' Requirements to the Quality of Employees' Professional Training

These are the main conclusions. Professional education certificate is a necessary signal for an employer but doesn't testify to the quality of an employee training. Other outside signals (for example, recommendations) are not effective yet at contemporary labor market. Employers trust most of all their "own" evaluation of an employee based on the results of "inter company's" choice procedures. The more successful an enterprise is the harder the personnel choice procedures are (including the procedures of "testing" employee's personal qualities).
Premium-level employers require from employees the high level of loyalty and commitment to the company besides the high level of professional knowledge and skills, which is not surprising since the cost of leaving for another company is very high as well as the errors of an incompetent employee. Successful enterprises actively carrying out modernization seek to form up innovation teams (where personnel should consist not of usual workers but of highly adaptive and learning, with creative attitude to work, being able to work for the common result employees). But these requirements of premiumclass enterprises face a number of limitations. The signal of limitations is that even at successful enterprises which resources allow to hire more expensive and more qualified employees managers are not able to solve the problem of personnel "ageing" for particular categories of employees. The main cause of this is employers' dissatisfaction with the quality of the present young specialist training that is not as good as that of "the elders'". Employers don't trust much contemporary professional training and young employees' adaptation requires a lot of time and money from enterprises. According to employers' opinions contemporary system of professional training is poorly adjusted to their requirements.
