Все темы, представленные в сборнике, составляют поле исследований современной
экономики труда. Классические теоретические подходы и новые концепции сопровождаются
эмпирическими данными, одновременно очерчивается круг дальнейших исследований
и разработок. В сборнике представлены исследования микро-, мезо- и макроуровня рынка
труда: затрагиваются как вопросы индивидуального принятия решений, так и проблемы
дискриминации, безработицы, человеческого капитала.
Первый том посвящен исследованию классических экономических вопросов: предложению труда и спросу на труд. В связи с этими темами затрагиваются проблемы формирования заработной платы, неравенства доходов, распределения времени между работой и отдыхом, гендерные аспекты предложения труда. Здесь представлены результаты исследований Дж. Пенкавеля, Дж. Хекмана и М. Киллингсворта, Р. Фримана, Д. Хаммермеша и др. Особое внимание уделяется эмпирическим исследованиям, основанным на модели человеческого капитала (Р. Уиллис, Й. Уэйсс, Ш. Роузен). Во втором томе представлены исследования, которые можно отнести к альтернативным концепциям современной экономики труда. На основе эмпирических данных авторы предлагают объяснения реальных рыночных феноменов, которые не возникли бы в идеальных условиях классических теоретических моделей (исследования Д. Парсонса, Д. Мортенсена, Дж. Джонсона и Р. Лаварда и др.). В третьем томе представлены результаты более поздних исследований в области теории и методологии анализа рынка труда. |
