The Interdisciplinary Center IDC Herzliya, Israel, will host an international academic conference on Behavioral Decision Making, May 30 to June 1st, 2011.
The conference will be held on IDC Herzliya campus, which is located
near Tel Aviv.
Decision Making is a multidisciplinary field that
draws on cognitive and social psychology, economics, and various other
disciplines, in order to understand, describe; and predict how
individuals and groups construct judgments and form decisions.
The goal of the conference is to bring together insights and recent
findings from a variety of perspectives which will reflect the
interdisciplinary richness of this rapidly developing field. We hope to
provide a forum for the introduction and the evaluation of current
themes in the field. The submission of theoretical and methodological
papers on behavioral decision making in naturalistic as well as applied
settings, is encouraged.

Decision Making
Proposals should be submitted in the form of an extended abstract (Max 500 words), which begins with the title of the paper, each author's name, affiliation, poster or oral presentation, and e-mail address, followed by a clear statement of the problem considered, a succinct summary of the results obtained, a brief discussion of the significance and novelty of the research, and a clear comparison with related work. The remainder of the extended abstract should provide sufficient detail to allow the program committee to evaluate the validity, quality, and relevance of the contribution.
