Special features of normative value system of Russian society within the modernization theory

The features of the normative and value systems of Russian society are investigated in the article, the norms of interrelations between individual, society ans state are emphasized, allowing for their change and development during last 15 years. The evaluation of the main worldoutlook models that are wide-spread in Russia nowadays is given. In Russia, social and cultural modernization processes differ from those that had been taken place in countries characterized by classical European model of development. Virtually there are at least two types of thinking of modern path of development in Russia, but neither presupposes Russia to follow the West countries. Besides, the key norm and values that are at the core of these types of thinking, are mostly differ from the European ones. Thus, the author concludes, it is reasonable to turn attention to the formation of different forms of «alternative modern» in our country.
