Critical Theories of Globalization is a highly accessible text that provides a comprehensive overview of globalization and its consequences. Urban social movements have traditionally been seen as being preoccupied with local issues, and as a result have been marginalized in the wider study of social movements. This collection deals with the transformation of urban movements in these new social, economic and political environments.
