"Which politician can be sold?" {by Victoria Dubitskaya, and Marina Tararukhina) presents the results of a sociological project effected by the authors of the article during the latest election campaign for Moscow city Duma. A resultant concept of political marketing for an election campaign is proposed. Following issues of the electoral strategy were found to be sociologically of paramount importance: forecasting electoral participation, typology of voters, language of political symbols and signs, finding out a goal oriented audience, controls of the efficiency of the election campaign, forecasting election outcome. Each stage of the sociological support for the marketing strategy of the political elections is substantiated and discussed in detail.
